Owen Hollander was born and raised in a small midwestern town in Southern Indiana where the film industry wasn't exactly present. Growing up, Owen was constantly being creative and begun filmmaking by creating stop motion skits with the family video camera and his action figures. This transitioned into making YouTube videos frequently for much of his developing years. Often, he would enlist his friends to star in these videos that he wrote, directed, and edited. This experimentation sparked his passion for filmmaking even more. He now has won awards for original short films and an in-depth documentary about eight U.S. military veterans. He is currently based out of Savannah, GA while studying at Savannah College of Art and Design. He creates narrative short films, documentaries, music videos, and promotional work for clients.
